We had a great time at the Tearfund ‘Big Quiz Night’ last Saturday with a mix of teams entering, including some from local churches and groups that meet at Landseer Road. The ‘Alan Roaders’ finally triumphed after a tie breaker with ‘What Dora didn’t explore’ finishing worthy runners up. You can see the winners holding their chocolate Golden Medals in the picture above 🙂
There was some half time entertainment from the Gainsborough Community Choir which went down very well and the real winners of the evening were Tearfund. We are pleased to have been able to raise £ 200.00 at our quiz which joins the total of £ 44000 raised by 241 churches that took part in the quiz across the country.
