We had a great time at our Christmas Fair this year. There was a constant stream of visitors during the 4 hours we were open, there were Donkey rides for the little ones, Father Christmas to visit, Santa letters to write and post, Lovely home made cakes to buy to take home and also to eat there. We had a raffle with over 40 prizes, all donated by wonderful people and companies to whom we are really grateful for your support. The children’s tombola was very popular, as was the Snowman game, name the lion, guess the weight of the cake and guess the chocolates in the tubs ! Lots to keep people busy. And then the chance to browse Maria’s Christmas stall and have a relaxing drink and cake in the café area – it was all wrapped with Gainsborough Community Choir singing us a selection of Christmas songs 🙂

Thanks to everyone who came along and to everyone who helped to organise and run the fair. We are pleased to announce that we raised over £ 700 which will be going towards our Refresh fund – hopefully, in the first couple of months of 2023, the toilets will finally be replaced (this is the first thing on our list of items that need to be repaired!)
